As many of you know, our family lost my teenage son Henry to overdose. No one should go through this experience alone, and for that reason, I am pleased to share that my sister Betsy Allison Tant and I have been named as co-facilitators of Knoxville’s first GRASP (Grief After Substance Passing) support group. GRASP meetings offer a free, safe place for friends and family of those lost to addiction and overdose to share and grieve with others who have been through the same experience.
Here’s the info about our first meeting. Mark your calendar if you would like to join us. We hope that you will. We also appreciate you sharing the info with others.
WHAT: GRASP (Grief After Substance Passing) support group, a free resource for anyone who has lost any loved one to addiction or overdose.
WHEN: Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 7pm and the first Thursday of each month thereafter
WHERE: St. James Episcopal Church at 1101 North Broadway in Knoxville.
